CinEast Film Festival brings the best of Central and Eastern European cinema to Luxembourg. Discover a rich programme of compelling stories, vibrant cultures, and unforgettable characters on the big screen. The second weekend includes a film about a Russian teacher documenting Russia's state propaganda, a young hip-hop loving boy from Macedonia wanting to become a DJ, a rich biopic about the "Slovak Tom Jones", the story of a girl's life turning upside down when she joins a choir, and much more.

2. Authentica

What: Folk music from Luxembourg

Folk songs and dances from Luxembourg come to life at the Philharmonie this weekend, with a vibrant fusion of Celtic, Latin, and Mediterranean influences. Behind Authentica is Martina Menichetti, an Italian-Luxembourgish singer and multi-instrumentalist who explores ancient tunes, stories, and legends with a contemporary perspective and a virtuoso skill at languages. This will be a fun and adventurous musical night.

3. Party to 2000s

Get ready to rewind to the 2000s for a night of pure throwback fun on 18 October. From Seven Nation Army chants to Family Affair vibes, it’s a party where your Pokerface or even your inner Mr. Brightside will fit right in. Dress Back To Black or go full-on flashy – just bring the moves, because in Da Club, Hips Don’t Lie.

4. Visit Tattoo Convention

The Luxembourg Tattoo Convention returns with over 350 international exhibitors. This year’s theme, “Architecture and its Foundations through Tattooing”, features monumental scenography and artwork by French artist Lahhel. Expect world-class tattooists, live shows, exhibitions, contests, street food, and endless inspiration.

5. See film screening and hunt for rare vinyls

CinEast Film Festival and Rotondes invite you to a special evening of film, vinyl and music! Funk YU is a playful tribute to vinyl, delighting collectors and music lovers alike, set against the backdrop of former Yugoslavia. The night also includes a record fair hosted by Muaaah Records and Specific Recordings, plus a relaxed DJ set by Heincha.

6. Hunt for treasures in the Minett region

7. Guitar battles

16 fearless guitar gladiators are stepping into the arena for 8 memorable duels. They are backed by the steady and formidable Gaasserock Blues Band, rocking the stage with the greatest rock and blues classics. These guitar heroes are ready to throw down, shred, and make a mess out of the Sang an Klang.
