2. Take a festive night tour of Luxembourg City
The tourist office is hosting an English guided night tour that will let you discover the best views of the Christmas light installations in the capital. This 90-minute tour takes you through the Ville-Haute and Gare districts, passing by the ice rink on the “Kinnekswiss” and the tunnel of lights on the Place des Martyrs. Meet at the LCTO reception desk and end your visit at the Christmas market, just in time for a Glühwein with friends or colleagues. Reservation required.
3. See Lego exhibition
Lego enthusiasts, young and old, are welcomed to Lego Brick Days 2023 this weekend in Medernach. Check out amazing custom creations, games, interactive activities, old items and new up-to-date pieces and collections. Great place to also buy a new set!
4. Hear American music journey
Join the Orchestre Philharmonique de Thionville, Chœur Amatys and Chorale de Folschetteon on a magical journey along the three thousand miles of road that separate the West from the East Coast, and let yourself be carried away by the sublime music of Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Bill Conti and Leonard Bernstein, each of whom, in their own particular way, wrote a page of America’s history.
5. Watch E.T.
In this Spielberg classic, an alien is left behind on Earth and is saved by young Elliot who decides to keep him hidden. While the task force hunts for it, Elliot and his siblings form an emotional bond with their new friend.
6. Take the wheel of the lunar rover
Join this workshop for an exciting rover teleoperation challenge! Take the wheel and overcome one of the most difficult obstacles in telerobotics: lunar time delay. Immerse yourself in the excitement of remote lunar exploration. Registration required.
7. Hear Portuguese fado singer Sara Correia
Trifolion Echternach is hosting its annual world music festival, which includes the world famous Harlem Gospel Choir on Thursday and Israeli singer Noa on Saturday. On Friday, rising Portuguese fado star Sara Correia takes to the stage. All of these shows are truly worth it.
