The Grand Duchess will thus reprise her role and open the 2021 edition of the Bazar International on 27 November.

As this year's edition of the popular event is drawing closer, the organisers behind the Bazar International de Luxembourg have confirmed in a press release on Thursday that H.R.H the Grand Duchess will once again open the event on Saturday 27 November.

The Bazar International traditionally takes place under the high patronage of the Grand Duchess.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event, which aims at celebrating the Grand Duchy's diversity and raise money for charitable causes around the world, had to be cancelled in 2020.

In summer 2021, the organisers took the decision to go ahead with the Bazar International this time around. This means that instead of the usual six to nine months, the 2021 edition was organised in less than three.
