The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) was kept busy on Friday night with multiple accidents – including three pedestrians being hit by vehicles.
On Friday, at around 5.30pm in Pétange on Route de Longwy, a person was hit and injured by a car.
A similar incident occurred later, at around 6pm in Leudelange on Rue Jean Fischbach, but this time without serious consequences, with CGDIS reported no injuries.
At 8.28pm in Pulvermuhl, Luxembourg City, a person was also hit by a car on Val de Hamm, resulting in another injury.
Earlier, at around 7.30pm on the CR162 in Ellange, heading towards Filsdorf, a car ended up in a ditch, leaving one person injured.
At 8.36pm in Luxembourg City’s Grund district, a fire broke out in a container on Rue de Trèves. No injuries were reported.
At midnight in Mondercange, a collision occurred between a moving car and a parked vehicle on Rue de Limpach, but no injuries were reported.
At 2.25am in Ettelbruck on Grand-Rue, a car crashed into a shop window, injuring one person.
At 3.27am on the A7 motorway towards Luxembourg, a car hit the safety barrier, but no one was injured.
