School is out but those kids need entertainment, here are a few events to keep them busy!

Tuesday

Kami-what? Kamishibai! This traditional Japanese storytelling form uses a small picture theatre, once commonly attached to a bicycle to allow for mobile performances. During the school holidays, a Kamishibai bicycle will stop in Luxembourg City park near the pirate ship. At 3pm, one or two illustrated stories will be read aloud for audiences of all ages. Performances may be in Luxembourgish, German, or English - and sometimes, no language is needed at all.

Wednesday

During the school holidays, children aged 5 and up can explore the wonders of the vegetable garden through fun, hands-on activities. Run by "Den Escher Geméisguart", the sessions offer a playful introduction to nature and gardening.

Good to know:
Participation fee: €8 per child (snack included). Sessions are held in French.

Thursday

This summer, urban culture takes centre stage with a brand-new immersive programme in the Alzette Valley. Over five days, young people aged 12 and up can dive into the world of hip-hop through hands-on workshops in writing, beatboxing, beatmaking, music production, and graffiti. More than just an introduction, each session is a creative journey - an opportunity to express, explore, and connect.

Good to know: Free participation
Location: Odendahl Park, Alzette Valley
Workshops available in French, English, Luxembourgish, and German
