In the midst of the corona crisis and throes of quarantine, Serge Tonnar and MASKéNADA provide live entertainment, from their living rooms to yours.

Born in Japan in 1973, Yuko Kominami studied Butoh in Tokyo. Butoh dance arose post-WW2 and was co-founded by Tatsumi Hijikata and Kazuo Ohno. The dance style itself is difficult to define, as it straddles the strange and the surreal, spanning from the absurd to the erotic.

From 1998 to 2000, Kominami lived and continued her studies in London. Now she lives and works as a freelance dancer in Luxembourg.

These "Living room sessions" are the product of an initiative led by Serge Tonnar, involves the artistic collective MASKéNADA and is supported by the Ministry of Culture. The entire programme and all past recordings can be found on their Facebook page.
