Actors Repertory Theatre Luxembourg, in short Actors Rep, chose "The Guys", by Anne Nelson, to kick off its 2018 season.

The Guys, is about the days after 9/11. A New York City fire captain has lost 8 men in the World Trade Centre attacks and seeks the help of a journalist, Joan, to write the eulogies. It is not just about the events of that day that changed the world, but more so about the bravery of grief. The play is based on a true story and originally opened at The Flea Theater in the Tribeca neighbourhood (a few blocks from the towers) a couple of months after the attacks.

This will be Actors Rep’s first production at Bamhaus, the co-working space and community of artists and creative industries on the old ArcelorMittal site in the Dommeldange quartier of Luxembourg Ville. Actors Rep recently began a residency at Bamhaus and all performances will be held the Bamhaus Cinéma space -18 A / 18D rue de la Cimenterie, L-1337 Luxembourg-Dommeldange.

The Guys premiered on 30 May. The next dates are: 2 and 4-6 June 2018
