Rock University series (3)Mahila covers "Always remember us this way"

RTL Today
Every week, we present music Made in Luxembourg, with young students performing acoustic covers.

Every Friday, RTL You will be presenting a new musician and their personal cover of a well-known song. Our third instalment sees the 17-year-old Mahila cover A Star Is Born’s “Always remember us this way.”

Mahila is currently a student at the European School and has given herself the goal to continue her passion at the Performing Arts school in Brighton. The young talent has already been seen on The Voice on Belgium television.

She doesn’t quite know why she has such a passion for singing, but has done so since she was young. At 12, Mahila began her musical education at Solfège and feels comfortable playing the piano. The young songstress has also begun writing her own material, inspired by her favourite artist Beyoncé. Mahila aspires to be a multi-talented artist performing live, just like her idol.

The Rock University is not any old Music School. Here it’s not just about playing music; it’s about feeling the music, experiencing it, and most importantly, making it your own. Every class is tailored to students’ needs, and the ensuing results have proved the viability of this approach.

Classes are accessible to all, from beginners to experts, and the staff is composed of professional musicians, passionate individuals who aim to support and cultivate all levels of talent.
