Seed To TreeBrand new music, brand new video

RTL Today
The Luxembourg band Seed To Tree is releasing new music and will present its new album "Proportions" at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette on 22 March.

2x Benjamin, 1x Michi and 1x Georges = Seed To Tree.

The Luxembourgish indie band celebrates its 9-year anniversary on 31 January. The band has played at a number of big venues such as the Reeperbahn Festival in Germany, where they opened for The Temper Trap.

Their debut album “Wandering” came out about 4 years ago, and their last EP “Unconcerned” is also almost two years old already, so it is not surprising that Seed to Tree are set to release a new cut - especially as their 9 year anniversary is just around the corner.

Fans already got a sneak peek into the new album when Seed to Tree released their first single “I Wouldn’t Mind” in autumn 2018.

The band dropped another little appetizer last weekend, about two months before the full album release.

Georges and Banjamin H. joined Steps on his regular Friday show #ThankEldoItsFriday #TEIF over on Eldoradio last week to discuss plans for the future.

Check out their latest single “Within Me” in our video at the top of this article.

The video was made by Benjamin Heidrich & Joshua Marx and depicts the band alongside some analogue tech and multiple old-school tv screens. There’s VHS cassettes, archive footage and a concentration on the eyes.

Given Georges comments on what the lyrics can mean, he revealed during the Eldo appearance that what is within can come from what is outside. As much as things ‘may be in me...us...these are also governed by what is around us, and how we react and adapt.”

Seed To Tree are:

Georges Goerens - Vocals, acoustic guitar
Benjamin Heidrich - Guitar, mandolin, backing vocals
Michi Mentgen - Drums
Benjamin Renz - Bass guitar
Jean-Marc Feltz - Keyboards
