Tonight on The Artist Hour we spotlight Jamiroquai, the pioneering UK band who will bring their unmistakable blend of funk, soul, and acid jazz to Luxembourg next summer.

Led by charismatic frontman Jay Kay, Jamiroquai broke through in the early 1990s with Emergency on Planet Earth and quickly became one of the defining acts of the decade. Their trademark sound fusing slick funk grooves with jazz influences and pop sensibility produced hits like Virtual Insanity, Cosmic Girl, Space Cowboy, and Canned Heat.

With more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, the band have carved out a legacy as both chart-toppers and innovators.

Jamiroquai’s live reputation is just as strong as their recorded output, with Jay Kay’s stage presence and the band’s tight musicianship making every performance an event. Luxembourg audiences will get the chance to experience it first-hand when Jamiroquai play LuxExpo on July 7, 2026, the first artist confirmed by den Atelier for their 2026 Open Air series.

On The Artist Hour tonight we’ll revisit the band’s journey, from their acid jazz roots to their global pop success, with an hour of music that celebrates their unmistakable groove and enduring influence.
