Luxembourg’s modern metal scene has a powerful new voice in ONE CHiN, who joined Today Radio's Ethan Carey on Drive Time to talk about his fast-rising solo project and the story behind it.
ONE CHiN is the creation of a Luxembourg-based musician channelling his love of modern metalcore into a bold, dynamic project. The sound blends crushing riffs, raw emotion and strong, memorable melodies, aiming to deliver something that feels both heavy and deeply personal.
A cancer survivor, his life-changing journey pushed him to turn adversity into art and to share that process through music. The project launched with the debut single Concussion in January 2025, the first in a run of monthly singles that will lead up to an eight-track album scheduled for June 2025.
Across these releases, ONE CHiN is setting out to build a clear identity in the modern metalcore scene, driven by passion, resilience and a desire to connect with listeners who recognise pieces of their own story in his.
