Rising singer, songwriter, and producer Hannah Jadagu is back with My Love, a glowing fusion of R&B and electro-pop, out now on all major streaming platforms via Sub Pop.
This may come as no surprise to regulär listeners of Today Radio, but we do have a bit of a soft spot for Hannah Jadagu.
The official video, co-directed by Hannah and Annika S, offers a dreamy and slightly surreal visual companion to the track’s themes of love and longing. Hannah also stars in the video, which really gets into the emotional pull of the lyrics.
"My Love is about the feelings that can arise when you’re apart from someone you love: longing, excitement, gratitude", says Hannah. "It's simply a love song that makes a plea for being with that person."
Written and composed by Hannah herself, the track was co-produced with Sora in Los Angeles and Max Baby in Paris, with final touches by Blue May (mixing) and Heba Kadry (mastering). My Love marks her first release since her acclaimed 2023 debut album Aperture.
Praised by outlets like The New York Times, NPR, Billboard, Stereogum, and Paste (plus, ahem, US), Hannah has toured internationally with Faye Webster, Arlo Parks, and Beach Fossils, and appeared at major festivals including SXSW, Roskilde, and Pitchfork London.
She is currently finishing her next full-length project, due this Autumn on Sub Pop.
