Today Radio has a pair of tickets to give away for an unmissable night at den Atelier on Tuesday, 3 June: Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew are teaming up for a powerhouse performance that brings Talking Heads classics to life, along with highlights from their own celebrated careers.
Jerry Harrison is best known as the keyboardist and guitarist for the legendary Talking Heads. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Lifetime Achievement Grammy recipient, Jerry's influence spans decades.
His solo work, including the album Casual Gods, has earned critical acclaim, and he has produced albums for artists such as Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Live. Before joining Talking Heads, he was also a member of the groundbreaking proto-punk group The Modern Lovers.
Adrian Belew, best known as the longtime frontman and guitarist for prog rock giants King Crimson, has had an equally impressive career. He has collaborated with the likes of David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Nine Inch Nails, Tori Amos, Paul Simon, and Cyndi Lauper. He has also released over 20 solo albums and was nominated for a Grammy in 2005.
Together with their all-star band, Jerry and Adrian will be performing Talking Heads favourites like Once In A Lifetime, Psycho Killer, and Take Me To The River, alongside selections from their solo work. This is a rare opportunity to see two influential artists live on stage in Luxembourg.
