Belgium's rising indie rock force The Haunted Youth are back with Emo Song, the first single from their forthcoming second album, Boys Cry Too, due out in February 2026.
The project of frontman Joachim Liebens, The Haunted Youth has quickly become one of the most talked-about acts in the European indie scene. Their debut album Dawn of the Freak drew praise for its shoegaze-inflected textures and raw emotional undercurrents, and since then the band has barely stopped touring, building a dedicated fanbase across the continent.
Luxembourg audiences will know them well from previous performances at Siren’s Call Festival and a standout headline set at Rotondes. While no local date has been announced just yet, the band will be on the road throughout 2026 with shows confirmed in cities including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Madrid, and Brussels, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for a return date.
The new track, Emo Song, signals the beginning of a new chapter. It’s a bold, emotionally charged piece about identity and self-acceptance, about being willing to lose everything in order to finally feel at home in your own skin.
Sonically, it’s a confident step forward, building on the band’s established style while expanding its reach and depth.
