Eighteen years in and still evolving, TUYS are marking their milestone in the only way they know how, by throwing a genre-blurring, guest-packed, art-rock-fuelled party at Rotondes.
On 2 May, the band returns to their home country stage for a night that celebrates not just the release of their bold new EP ◑◐◐, but nearly two decades of friendship, reinvention, and seriously good music.
And like any good party, TUYS aren’t doing it alone. Joining them on stage are a killer mix of support acts and special guests: the ever-bold C’est Karma, newcomers Fulvous, hip-hop shape-shifter Maz, the effortlessly smooth Edsun, and none other than Poko from Eternal Tango, a real treat for longtime fans of Luxembourg’s music scene.
TUYS, formed in 2007 by a bunch of primary school friends, have come a long way from garage rehearsals. Now variously based in Berlin and Luxembourg, they blend art rock and psych pop, known for chiming guitars, wide-ranging vocals, and a visual style that mixes metafiction with glossy satire. Their new EP ◑◐◐ leans into instinct and freedom, shedding the more conceptual vibe of 2023’s Reality Management Ltd in favour of something fresh, bold, and built for the stage.

Their reputation for explosive live shows precedes them. TUYS have shared stages with Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Interpol, and The Smashing Pumpkins, and lit up festivals from ESNS to Reeperbahn. Now, they’re bringing that same high-voltage energy back to where it all began.
Want in? Today Radio is giving away a pair of tickets to the party! All you have to do is send your name, email address, and your answer to this question: What birthday are TUYS celebrating with their Big Birthday Bash?
Send it all via Whatsapp to the Today Radio studio phone at +352 621 52 5000 to enter.
Come for the tunes, stay for the chaos, the cameos, and the cake (we’re assuming there will be cake). TUYS are finally adults, and they’re doing it in style. 2 May. Rotondes. Don’t miss it.
