The Out of the Crowd Festival returns this weekend to Kulturfabrik in Esch-sur-Alzette, continuing its long-standing tradition of championing innovative, high-energy and genre-pushing acts.
Now in its latest edition, the festival once again brings together an international roster of artists across two stages for one of the most anticipated nights on Luxembourg's alternative music calendar.
There has been a late change to the line-up following the withdrawal of Deadletter due to personal reasons. Replacing them are London-based band Warmduscher, who bring a unique blend of garage rock, post-punk, funk and electronic energy. Their unpredictable and often chaotic live performances have earned them a cult following in the UK and across Europe.
Warmduscher's most recent album, At the Hotspot, was released to critical acclaim and showcases the band's off-kilter sound and dancefloor sensibilities. They are known for their explosive stage presence and will no doubt be one of the standout acts at this year’s festival.
As it happens Stephen Lowe from Today Radio caught up with Warmduscher a while back. You can listen to the full interview here:
The late changes to the lineup held up the release of the full schedule for the festival, but we have it now:
