The sixth race of the Cyclo-Cross World Cup took place on Sunday in Koksijde, Belgium, with Dutch cyclist Lucinda Brand once again dominating the field. The 36-year-old secured victory, followed by Shirin van Anrooij (+36 seconds) and Ceylin Del Carmen Alvarado (+1:03), while the top eight positions were all claimed by Dutch riders. This marked Brand’s 80th cyclo-cross win, coming just a day after her World Cup triumph in Antwerp, further cementing her lead in the overall standings.

Luxembourgish cyclist Marie Schreiber was less fortunate. After finishing 18th the previous day, the 22-year-old fell in the third of five laps and was forced to abandon the race. This was only Schreiber’s fourth race following a long recovery period and her second withdrawal. Liv Wenzel faced the same outcome.

In the U23 men’s race, Luxembourg was represented by 18-year-old Lennox Papi, who finished 40th (+6:28) behind Dutch winner David Haverdings, while Rick Meylender secured 41st place with the same finishing time as Papi.
