The Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) introduced its new home and away kits on Tuesday, signalling the start of its recently announced collaboration with German supplier JAKO, which is set to last until 2030. The reveal came just two weeks after the partnership became official.
According to a statement from the FLF, the new uniforms are intended to embody a mix of tradition, character, and modernity. The home kit features a striking red design, prominently showcasing Luxembourg’s iconic red lion.
The away kit draws inspiration from the light blue shade of the Luxembourgish flag, with both the FLF and JAKO using this national colour as a key element in the design.
Both the men's and women's national teams will wear the new kits. Over the next two years, all Luxembourg national football sides are set to be equipped with the updated uniforms.
The two new shirts are already available for purchase in the official FLF shop. The kits will be worn for the first time in the men’s UEFA Nations League campaign, when Jeff Strasser’s team faces Bulgaria away on Thursday, 26 September, followed by a home fixture against Iceland at the Stade de Luxembourg three days later.
