Athlete Ruben Querinjean came fourth in Sunday's 3000-metre steeplechase in Poland, just a week after winning silver at the European Championships in Birmingham for the same discipline.
As well as securing the best finish for a European competitor, he also broke his own national record, improving it by 4.11 seconds. His new time is now 8:5.36.
Ethiopia's Gemechu Godana came in first place with a time of 8:2.74.
