The Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) has officially confirmed that Luc Holtz, the 54-year-old coach of the Luxembourg national team, has signed a two-year contract extension, taking his tenure until 31 December 2025.

Leading the Red Lions since August 2010, Holtz has been a stalwart figure as the national coach. His coaching record boasts 31 victories, 25 draws, and 74 defeats from 130 games, making him the most successful national team coach in Luxembourg's history.

The journey under Holtz began with the first international match in Wales on 11 August 2010.

Looking ahead, the Luxembourg national team has another opportunity in March to qualify for the European Championship in Germany next summer through the Nations League play-offs.
