
Lou Jominet was the final Luxembourger to represent the Grand Duchy in Paris, swimming on Sunday morning. She came 26th out of 26 swimmers in the 400m freestyle heat, with a time of 4:23.98 - five seconds behind the winner. The eight fastest swimmers qualified for Sunday night's final.
Thus concludes the 2026 championships for the Luxembourgish swimming delegation. Rémi Fabiani's semi-final participation in the 50m backstroke and the 100m freestyle stand out, as he set new national records for both distances. Another new national record was set for the 4x100m freestyle relay, by the team made up of Kemp, Fabiani, Frippiat and Daleiden Ciuferri. Emma Barthel also set a new national best in the 200m breaststroke and the 200m medley.
