The Luxembourg men's national football team will soon be lining up in new jerseys. The Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) formally announced its new partnership with German kit maker JAKO on Monday in a deal running through to 2030.
The German manufacturer currently supplies the women's national team as well as a number of FLF youth teams. The Red Lions have already worn JAKO jerseys in the past and have sported a plethora of kit suppliers throughout the 21st century: starting with Adidas up until 2004, then moving to Jako between 2008–2012, reverting back to Adidas for two seasons, before donning the Macron emblem up until 2021, with the most recent suppliers being Errea.
Up until 1970 the Luxembourg national team produced their kits in-house and spent one season under the iconic Coq Sportif logo in 1975, preceding a 28-year partnership with Adidas.
The Luxembourgish Football Federation (FLF) stated it was "a new chapter of a shared history [...] we are looking forward to the next years and sharing sporting success together."
