Luxembourg-based construction company Wiesen-Piront is breaking new ground with the launch of a mobile application dedicated to construction site monitoring, designed specifically for its customers. Alexandra Elz, the group’s marketing director, explains the main features and benefits.

Active for 45 years in the construction of houses and private residences in Luxembourg, Wiesen-Piront has made its mark thanks to its expertise, personalized support, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Since its founding in 1980, its mission has been clear: To balance real estate and peace of mind. “Building a house can be stressful. You have to make a lot of choices, manage complex administrative procedures, and coordinate several service providers. With us, every customer has a single point of contact, from initial contact right through to the handover of the keys, which makes the process a whole lot easier,” says Alexandra Elz, Marketing Director.

Enhancing Transparency

Observant and driven by the desire to make life even easier for Wiesen-Piront customers, Alexandra Elz has tackled what often seems to be lacking on construction sites: Transparency . “Our technicians visit the site several times a week to monitor the progress of the work, but the customer doesn’t always have the opportunity to see the updates firsthand,” explains the Marketing Manager. Keen to reassure future homeowners and, above all, to improve communication with them, Alexandra Elz decided to create a construction site monitoring app. It was an innovative idea that quickly gained the support of the company’s management and, within a few months, became a reality. “It’s a first in Luxembourg; we’re the only ones to offer it. The application is available on all mobile devices and is reserved for our customers, who have a personal access code to use it. This will enable them to check the progress of their property project in just a few clicks,” she sums up.

Improving responsiveness and simplicity

Thanks to this application, customers receive push notifications from their site manager, keeping them informed of progress and updates on their work especially through photos. An integrated chat channel also allows them to communicate directly with their contact person. “This considerably improves responsiveness and reduces the need for multiple, often time-consuming, email exchanges. At a glance on their phone, our customers can find out the status of their construction site and receive images in real time, wherever they are in the world,” emphasises Alexandra Elz. Another major advantage is that the application makes it easier to manage administrative documents. “The notarial deed, energy passport, and all official documents will be securely stored within the app for easy access. During construction, Amendments and plans requiring signature during construction can also be signed digitally. Customers can even use the app to approve their choice of materials,” she adds.

A unique service in Luxembourg, this innovation is currently being tested with a select group of customers but will soon be available to all. Regularly updated and enhanced with new features, this application is a way for Wiesen-Piront to provide its customers with ever greater satisfaction, which has been its top priority since it was founded in 1980.
