American alt-rockers The Neighbourhood are the first band confirmed to be playing at Luxexpo Open Air 2027 on Monday, 5 July.

Formed in California in 2011, it didn't take long for the five-piece to find mainstream success. Their song Sweater Weather – released in late 2012 – immediately struck a chord with listeners, reaching number one on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart by June of the following year.

To date, the song has nearly five billion streams on Spotify.

Of course, The Neighbourhood have since then released multiple albums and smash hits. 2018's Hard to Imagine the Neighbourhood Ever Changing LP, in particular, remains emminently popular today with tunes like Softcore, Reflections, and You Get Me So High.

Most recently, they released their fifth studio album Ultrasound in February 2026 – their first since their multi-year hiatus – marking their return to the alternative rock sphere.

Unfortunately for Luxembourgish fans, The Neighbourhood had to cancel two shows some years ago, first at den Atelier on December 4th, 2021 and then on October 12th, 2022.

This will thus be the chance for longtime Neighbourhood lovers and newcomers alike to catch them live in the Grand Duchy for the first time on Monday, 5 July, 2027.

The general ticket sale goes live on Friday, 30 October at 10am, and those eager to see the Neighbourhood live next summer can already sign up the exclusive pre-sale, which goes live on Thursday, 29 October at noon.

The Neighbourhood are only the first in next summer's series of shows to be announced. Keep an eye on Atelier's website, the front page of RTL Today Radio, and stay tuned to RTL Today Radio for more announcements.
