Speaking on RTL Today Radio, Fête de la Musique ASBL President Vanessa Cum highlighted the scale of the event, which involves more than 20 organisers and performances in towns and cities across the country.

"We're having over 310 concerts in 10 days here in the country", Vanessa says. While major events in Luxembourg City and Dudelange often grab the headlines, Cum stressed that the festival is much broader, with performances taking place in communities nationwide.

Music fans can use the interactive map at fete-de-la-musique.lu to discover events nearby and explore genres ranging from blues and rock to choir music and emerging local talent.

"You find everything you're looking for", Cum says of the site's information and easy to use graphics.

Planning for the festival begins almost a year in advance, with organisers securing artists and coordinating logistics long before the first stage is erected.

For Cum, however, the event's true purpose extends beyond big-name acts. She believes one of Fête de la Musique's greatest achievements has been creating opportunities for young and non-professional musicians to perform in front of new audiences.

"The most important thing is bringing people together and giving a stage to the youngsters." Accessibility, community spirit and musical discovery remain at the heart of the festival. Whether through open mic stages, local performers or established artists, the goal is to ensure music is available to everyone, free of charge.

"Music is bringing people together. That's everything that matters," Cum says of the event's main goal.
