Locke & Key – Netflix

After the violent death of Rendell Locke, his wife Nina moves with their three children, Tyler, Kinsey and Bode to Massachusetts. They intend to live in the ancestral home of Rendell’s family, Keyhouse.

Both Tyler and Kinsey are not happy by the move, missing their friends and still traumatized by the memories of their father’s death. Bode, the youngest, is mostly left alone to explore the big old house and its surroundings. It is on such an exploration that he starts talking to a voice coming from a well, claiming to be his echo. The Echo tells him to look for keys in the house and bring them to him.

At first, when Bode tells his siblings that he has found a key to go anywhere, they don’t believe him. But when he finds the mirror key, their mother gets caught in the mirror dimension and they help her get out. Afterwards, their mother seems to have forgotten what happened. The children start to hunt for other keys, unlocking the secrets of Keyhouse and the legacy of their family.
