
Officially opened by minister for the economy Étienne Schneider in September 2018, the agency aims to support private companies in their space-related research, and develop Luxembourg’s space ecosystem.
The European Space Agency expects the sector to be of increasing importance in the future, and it is hoped that it will generate €70bn and 250,000 jobs in the next 20 years.
