Police in Luxembourg City are investigating an unusual vehicle break-in reported early Saturday morning. According to authorities, a person allegedly broke into a parked car on Rue Saint-Quirin, not to steal, but to find a place to sleep.

Officers were called to the scene at around 4.45am after the car’s owner discovered the suspect inside. The individual had reportedly gained entry by breaking the small passenger-side window before falling asleep within the vehicle. Confronted by the owner, the suspect apologised, stating they were merely looking for a place to rest, and then fled the area.

Preliminary police information indicates that nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
