In a video posted on Twitter on Tuesday, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel provided answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about the coronavirus measures.

Bettel explained there was no choice other than to stay at home when confronted with a pandemic of this magnitude.

Common questions quiz: Do you know what is and isn't allowed given Luxembourg's coronavirus measures?Some people still have to attend work to keep society functioning - these are key workers, in hospitals, transport, supermarkets, and the police. Bettel also offered heartfelt thanks to the cross-border workers in the most vital sectors, who have continued to come to work.

In terms of getting fresh air and exercise, Bettel confirmed it was possible, but to undertake exercise individually or as a household. He reiterated the importance of staying away from other people and avoiding contact as much as possible.

Overall the Prime Minister's message focused on solidarity and understanding, to help the entire population get through these difficult times.
