The bridge connecting Luxembourg and Germany in Wormeldange has been partially closed for most of 2023 due to extensive renovations. Since March, the bridge has largely only permitted one-way traffic, permitting motorists to drive towards Luxembourg between 6am and 10am in the mornings, before switching back to Germany.

Traffic may now resume in both directions starting at 10am on Friday 20 October. The remainder of the work on the bridge over the Moselle river will be carried out at a later date.
