Latest figures from LuxembourgWeekend update sees 155 cases from 9,692 tests, no new deaths

The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 155 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 72 hours.

Monday’s update contains the data from Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as the government has stopped releasing coronavirus figures on the weekend.

88 cases were recorded Friday, with 59 on Saturday and 8 on Sunday.

No new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy at 830.

9,692 tests were conducted in total over the last 72 hours, with 201 tests in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate for yesterday was 3.98%.

There are 19 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, down 11 from Friday’s update, with six patients in intensive care (up by one).

As of Sunday, there were 915 active infections in Luxembourg, while 73,927 people have recovered from the virus.

406,102 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 760,859 doses have been administered in total. 390,177 people have been fully vaccinated as of the latest update.

As of yesterday, the R rate is at 1.11.
