A significant water leak was detected in the drinking water supply network on Route de Mersch in Bissen. Technical teams were at the scene on Tuesday to resolve the issue, but several roads in the southern area of the village are likely to not have had drinking water up until midnight.
The water supply network in the Biwer municipality also experienced issues, although the situation was progressively improving over the course of Tuesday evening. The villages of Biwer, Biwerbaach, Boudler, and Boudlerbach all had the water supply returned, although Brouch residents had to use a 8,000 litre water reservoir whilst work continued.
