
Emergency services were first called out at around 8.30am on Saturday after a car crashed on the road between Dondelange and Bour, resulting in one person being injured.
At approximately 2.45pm, another incident occurred on the CR350 between Welscheid and Bamhaff, injuring one person.
According to the emergency services, the alert was triggered by a mobile phone, but no further details about the circumstances of the accident have been shared.
Around the same time, two vehicles collided on the Route de Diekirch in Echternach. This accident also left one person injured.
Later in the evening, one accident occurred at around 7pm on Route de Bascharage in Niederkorn, when two cars collided. The injured party received treatment from an ambulance crew from Schifflange.
At approximately 9.15pm in Mamer, a motorcyclist was injured after falling from their bike on Tossebierg. An ambulance from Mamer attended to the rider at the scene.
Shortly after 1am, a car caught fire on Rue Eugene Reiser in Niederfeulen. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident.
The most serious accident of the night occurred at around 2.45am on the B7 towards Fridhaff, between Schieren and Ettelbruck. Three vehicles were involved in a collision, resulting in three people being injured. Emergency crews from Nordstad and the emergency medical service (SAMU) from Ettelbruck were on site.
At around 3.30am on Rue de Schifflange in Kayl, a pedestrian was hit by a car. The victim is said to be a teenager. An ambulance and a SAMU team from Esch responded and provided care to the injured boy.
Later, at around 4.40am, another collision occurred on the A1 motorway towards Trier, between the Cargo Centre and Munsbach. Three cars were involved and one person was injured.
Finally, police also reported that a driving licence was confiscated at around 5.20am on Sunday after a motorist failed a breathalyser test in Howald.
