The Manternach local council has reported an act of vandalism in Berbourg overnight from Thursday to Friday and is calling on the public to come forward with information.

The Manternach local council announced on social media that several acts of vandalism occurred in Berbourg during the night of 20 to 21 August. According to the council, various objects were deliberately damaged or destroyed at several locations, including the Campus Renert, Schullstrooss, Am Wangert, and An der Gruecht. The council also shared photos online to illustrate the extent of the damage.

Manternach’s council strongly condemned the incident, emphasising that public facilities are funded and maintained for everyone’s benefit and must be treated with respect. A formal complaint has also been filed with the police.

Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has relevant information to contact the Museldall Police at 244 70 1000 or the Manternach local council at 70 01 72 21.
