Three separate road accidents on Sunday and early Monday left one person injured in each case, while emergency services also reported two minor fires in Dudelange and in Kirchberg.

Emergency services were called out several times on Sunday evening and during the night.

According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), an accident occurred on Sunday at around 6.20pm on the slip road from the A1 to the A3, involving a bus and a car.

Emergency teams from Luxembourg City and Hesperange, as well as the Luxembourg City Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU), attended the scene. One person was injured.

Emergency services from Wiltz and Kiischpelt also had to assist one injured person after an accident shortly after 8pm between on the CR324 toward Wilwerwiltz.

At around 12.40am, two cars were involved in an accident in Schifflange, leaving one person injured. In addition to local teams, emergency services from Esch-sur-Alzette and the Esch SAMU were also called out.

The CGDIS also reported two fires. In Dudelange, a rubbish bin caught fire, while in Kirchberg an electronic device was involved in a fire. In both cases, the local fire and rescue centres attended the scene.
