Engelen also enquired as to how much glyphosate is used for public spaces. In the last ten years, the CFL has purchased around 10,500 litres of Roundup, the trade name of glyphosate. The ministers reminded Engelen that the use of spray herbicides has been banned on green spaces in municipalities since 2016.
