Police received reports of the incident at 6.45pm and dispatched officers to the scene. One of the men ran away upon spotting police, throwing aside a knife in the process. He was apprehended shortly afterwards.
According to initial reports, the incident began as a verbal disagreement, quickly devolving into a physical altercation. The victim was taken to hospital for medical treatment.
The suspect was arrested by order of the public prosecutor’s office and the weapon used during the altercation was seized by police.
