The monthly testing of the alert system will take place from around 11am on Monday 5 January. Residents will receive a warning message with the alert sound to their mobile phones. There is no need to react to the message.
All mobile phones connected to a Luxembourg network at the time of sending will automatically receive the test message, whether or not they are registered with a national operator.
The national warning sirens will also be tested on Monday morning.
