At around 5.30pm, a person fell while riding an e-scooter between Kehlen and Olm. The emergency medical service (SAMU) and an ambulance from Luxembourg City, along with Kehlen firefighters, responded to the scene.
At 7.20pm, a two-vehicle accident took place on the A3 motorway in the direction of Dudelange, close to the border; two people were injured. Firefighters and ambulances from Kayl and Dudelange were dispatched to the location.
Less than ten minutes later, a collision between two cars occurred on the A6 motorway heading towards Luxembourg City, past the Helfent exit.
Two people were hurt. Firefighters and an ambulance from Luxembourg City was dispatched to the scene.
Shortly after 8.30pm, another accident took place on the A3 between the Bettembourg interchange and Dudelange. Firefighters from Bettembourg and Dudelange, along with an ambulance from Bettembourg, were deployed.
The incident resulted in material damage only, as did a motorcycle accident at around 10.30pm on Avenue Pasteur in Luxembourg City.
Two blazes were also reported on Wednesday evening. In Olingen, on Rue de Flaxweiler, an electrical socket caught fire at around 8.20pm.
At around the same time, a bin caught fire between Medernach and Stegen.
Firefighters from Ernz Valley, Larochette, and Mensdorf units were dispatched to the scene to put out the fire.
