On Saturday afternoon, two shoplifters were caught by police in a store at Cloche d’Or in Gasperich after stealing several items. The suspects were found carrying a box cutter and a pair of pliers, which were seized by the authorities. At the request of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the suspects were identified and issued a report.

Shortly after midnight on Sunday, police were alerted to a mobile phone theft on Rue Principale in Munsbach. According to initial reports, the victim was briefly harassed by two men before they left, only to discover afterwards that their mobile phone was missing. The suspects had fled the scene and have not yet been located.

Later, at around 5am, police were informed of another violent theft on Avenue Émile Reuter in Luxembourg City. Two men allegedly assaulted the victim and stole their necklace, wallet, and mobile phone.

Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing in both cases.
