Police were called to Vianden at around 11pm on Saturday due to a drunken individual causing trouble. When approached by officers, the man refused to calm down and became more agitated, leading to his arrest.
Two others were taken into custody in Luxembourg City at around 3.30am as they were deemed to represent a danger to themselves and others. The two individuals had become aggressive towards a police patrol responding to a separate incident in the Gare district.
In the same area, police came across an intoxicated individual throwing stones around the vicinity, leading to a further arrest.
The Grand Ducal police said they had received over 30 reports of noise violations overnight from Saturday to Sunday, the majority of which were resolved by local police patrols.
