Around 10.40 a.m., an older person was mugged at the tram stop "Theater" in Limpertsberg. An unidentified assailant approached the victim from behind, before ripping a necklace from the person's neck.
Later in the afternoon, three young men were held at knifepoint near the train station in Tétange. Two muggers took a number of valuable items from the victims, including e-rollers, cash, a mobile phone, and a baseball cap.
In the evening, another similar incident occurred on Boulevard Royal in Luxembourg City. As the victim in this mugging managed to fight back, the three assailants only managed to steal a necklace.
