The incident occured after two cars crashed on Rue Jean Fischbach. Three ambulances from Luxembourg City, one from Bettembourg, another one from Esch-sur-Alzette, the first responders from Esch and Luxembourg City, and the fire brigades from Leudelange, Mondercange, and Luxembourg City were despatched to the scene.
Three other traffic accidents on Friday evening each left one person injured.
A pedestrian was hit by a car in Strassen shortly after 5pm. At around the same time, a car overturned between Schrondweiler and Schieren. Shortly before 6.30pm, two cars crashed in Rue de la Gare in Leudelange.
