The assailants forcibly removed her gold necklace before making a swift getaway. The victim lodged a formal complaint, and the investigation into the matter is currently underway.
Later on that same Friday evening, another robbery unfolded in the capital, near Place de la Gare. In this instance, the thief pretended to hug the victim. However, the intended victim managed to push the assailant away. It was only later that she realised her wallet had gone missing. A formal complaint was registered with the authorities.
Meanwhile, in Grevenmacher on Friday afternoon, two individuals tried to steal bicycles in Grevenmacher. Unluckily for them, the police happened to be passing by and caught them red-handed. During a subsequent body search of one of the apprehended suspects, a small quantity of cocaine was discovered. An official report detailing the incident was filed by the police.
