When the criminals realised the neighbour was there, they decided to flee. The resident who was attacked suffered head injuries, the police said on Saturday.

Car break-ins

An unknown culprit broke into a car that was stationed in a public car park in Rue Saint-Quirin in Luxembourg City. The individual threw a stone through the back window and stole a laptop, among other things.

In Rue Michel Rodange, two unknown culprits stole a bag from a car. The owner was asleep in his vehicle while this was happening and did not notice anything. With the help of eyewitnesses, who immediately called the police, the two culprits could be apprehended not far from the vehicle.

The police did not specify when any of these incidents occurred.
