At the end of the first lockdown, fuel prices were 35.5% cheaper compared to May 2021. However, it should be considered that fuel prices were in general rather low throughout 2020.
As for groceries, particularly milk (+2.2%) and fresh fruit (+1.4%) became more expensive compared to the previous month. Another figure that stands out is the price evolution of plane tickets, which became more expensive by 13.8% between April and May alone.
