
The "preliminary report" was composed by Diane Adehm (CSV) and Guy Arendt (DP) and is over 100 pages long. As the draft will be used as a basis for the final vote on the budgetary amendments, it will still have to be substantially shortened. The new version is thus set to be presented on Monday.
The respective hearings, which were held over the course of the past weeks, included several military representatives, as well as the former Minister of Defence Etienne Schneider, who first launched the project in 2018.
