Two cars crashed at around 7.20am on Friday morning on the CR306 between Grosbous and Vichten, resulting in one colliding with a tree.
The driver was seriously, but not fatally, injured, say police, who have launched an appeal for witnesses on Friday afternoon.
Following information released by the authorities, a dark coloured car was travelling towards Vichten at the time of the accident and the driver may have witnessed the incident.
Police are asking for this person to come forward by calling 244 851 000.
