The green light now means that the arguably most important law of the year can now be debated and voted on, after it is presented in the Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday afternoon.

According to CSV parliamentary group leader Laurent Zeimet, Bauer had put a great deal of effort into the report: “I have seen how, over the past few months, he has worked extremely intensively on the budget. He was out and about a lot, met with many associations and people, in order to place a particular emphasis on the social aspects of the budget. He has developed this in a very interesting way. Without wanting to steal the show from him already, I think we can really look forward to him presenting this report in the Chamber.”
