In particular, the new offer allows all residents over 18 to volunteer for a vaccination with either the Johnson&Johnson or the AstraZeneca vaccine. Those interested are free to either choose one vaccine or register for both waiting lists.
As of 12 pm on Saturday, 6,355 people have volunteered for a vaccination with the Johnson&Johnson product and 2,151 people have registered on the AstraZeneca waiting list.
Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and Minister of Health Paulette Lenert had announced these new waiting lists during a press conference on Friday afternoon.
